Test Principle

A test specimen is fixed in a holder that connects to a torque sensor beneath. The machine automatically grips and rotates the cap; the resulting torque is transmitted to the sensor. When the applied torque reaches a preset value, the system signals the end of the test. If the cap has not opened at that point, it indicates that the actual opening torque exceeds the preset threshold – which is the requirement defined in industry standards for that closure type. Thus the test verifies compliance with standard torque specifications.
