Syringe tightness negative pressure tester
2026-03-17 17:121. Product Overview
WY‑003 Syringe Sealing Negative Pressure Tester is a precision testing instrument specially designed for syringe manufacturers and medical device testing institutions. It is used to accurately evaluate the sealing performance between the piston and barrel of disposable sterile syringes, prefilled syringes, syringes and other products. By simulating clinical negative pressure application scenarios, it eliminates risks of liquid leakage and air infiltration, ensuring product quality and medical safety. The instrument strictly complies with authoritative domestic and international standards, adopting intelligent control and high‑precision sensing technology, featuring easy operation and reliable data, making it a core instrument for syringe quality control.
2. Key Advantages
- Standard‑Compliant & Globally ApplicableFully complies with GB 15810‑2019 Appendix E (Negative Pressure Method), ISO 7886‑1:2017, and supports YY/T 0909‑2013, YY 0053‑2008 and other industrial specifications, meeting global market access and testing requirements.
- High Precision & Stable PerformanceEquipped with high‑precision pressure sensor. Negative pressure range: 0 ~ -98 kPa, measurement error ≤ ±1% FS, resolution 0.01 kPa. Pressure drift during pressure holding ≤ ±0.5 kPa/60 s, ensuring accurate and traceable test results.
- Intelligent Control & High Efficiency7-inch HD touch screen with Chinese/English bilingual interface for one‑key switching. Supports visual parameter setting, real‑time pressure curve display, data storage and query. Dual‑core PLC + ARM control system automatically completes vacuuming, pressure holding, timing and leakage alarm without professional training.
- Data Management & TraceabilityBuilt‑in mini printer automatically outputs standard reports including pressure, time and test results. Supports USB data export and RS232 communication, compatible with LIMS systems for full traceability of production batches and inspection data.
- Safety Protection & DurabilityOverload shutdown, overheating protection and overpressure alarm functions. The body is made of stainless steel and high‑quality engineering materials with a sturdy structure, suitable for long‑term high‑frequency testing. Power supply: AC 90~240V/50Hz, adaptable to power grids worldwide

Test Principle
Fill the syringe with water to at least 25% of its nominal volume. Hold the syringe with the cone upward, pull back the plunger until the reference line aligns with the nominal volume line, then place the syringe on the holder. Securely connect the tube from the tester’s negative pressure output to the syringe cone. Connect the tester to the mains power and turn on the power switch. Wait until the digital pressure display is stable, then press the Start button.
The tester will automatically evacuate air until the negative pressure reaches -88 kPa, then stop pumping automatically and start a 60-second holding period.
During this period:
Visually inspect the contact area between the barrel and the plunger: no bubbles shall be formed.
The negative pressure reading shall not drop by more than 0.5 kPa from the set value.
The plunger and the plunger rod shall not separate.
